How to set the value of option in form based on user's selection on previous page? [duplicate]

It might be a noob question, but I couldn't find any solution to this on Google. So, I have a website consisting of two pages: product page consisting of 6 products and form page.

Inside the product page, users can choose only one of the product ( e.g product C ) and they will be redirected to form page that I want it to show the default to be product C while still giving them the flexibility to change and choose other products.

How should I go about this? Using JS?
