Selecting Subform with ComboBox in Main Form - Access 2013

I'm trying to create a bibliography/citation function in an Access Database which will capture source data in a form.

What I'm trying to make is one main form for Source Citation that has a ComboBox populated with the type of sources you can cite (i.e. book, journal, etc.), and based upon what source type is selected, a different subform will pop up, allowing someone to enter in the bibliographical data for that particular source. So, for example, if someone selected that they were citing a Website from the ComboBox, a subform would pop up with fields for website citation for the user to fill in.

I've got the mainform, the subforms and associated tables for data storage, but unfortunately, I'm having some trouble figuring out how to link the combobox in the mainform to the various subforms. I'm also not really familiar with coding at all. Does anyone know of a way to essentially link these two, or perhaps another way to do the same task?

Thanks for your help!
